Strangely lost

My minds distracted and confused
My thoughts are many miles away...

I think of you and I think of things
I think of you and time goes by...

My minds excited and amused
My thoughts from here to there do sway

I make a drawing and i write a line
And all of a sudden I feel fine...

I wish it were that easy said the caterpillar to the frog
But after all I'm just a wheel in the cog..

You said that one wrong
Just to make the song go along

Its been ages since we last met
I remember the time when we were all wet

I'm overdoing the rhyme...
But hang on that can't be a crime..

I take a deep sigh
I wonder what it'll take for me to get high

I tried
And I cried

But I'm bored stiff...
And it's not because I'm miffed...
